Festivals and a Jatara (fair) have already been celebrated at this temple. Preparations are now underway to organize another round of temple festivities in the next two months. The construction has been completed across roughly 2.5 ankalams (a local unit of area), and work remains only for fixing the relevant grills, after which everything will be fully finished, according to the temple organizers. The temple organizers are making arrangements to install the idols of the deities to ensure a truly spiritual ambience. It is worth noting that with the construction of the new Shiva temple, a spiritual environment has already been established in the village. Villagers mention that if the Endowments Department extends further support, this Someshwara Temple in Anthampeta can develop even more. To bring a pleasant look to the temple surroundings... Since the Someshwara Temple is newly constructed, plans have been drawn up to plant saplings on a large scale around its premises to blend environmental protection with a pleasant atmosphere. Along with conducting daily rituals, arrangements are being made to enhance amenities for the devotees. Plans are also set to perform special rituals, abhishekam, and prayers at the Someshwara Temple on the upcoming Shivaratri night. The temple management is formulating an action plan to manage the high influx of devotees, fostering a strong belief among them that visiting this temple grants salvation and provides relief from worldly troubles. Ultimately, with the completion of the Someshwara Temple in Anthampeta village of Gattuppal mandal, a unique spiritual atmosphere has enveloped the village, as noted by the residents. Kumbam Sreenivasa Reddy, who is settled in America, has already spent up to Rs. 20 lakhs of his own funds to support the temple's construction. NRI Kumbam Sreenivasa Reddy, who belongs to Indurthi village in Marreguda mandal, contributed to this temple's construction out of his deep love and affection for his native region. The villagers stated that despite being settled abroad, he came forward driven by love for his homeland to offer his services for the temple's development and played a vital role in its growth. In social service programs... While contributing his share to temples, NRI Kumbam Sreenivasa Reddy is also actively participating in other social welfare activities. He has been extending services in fields like education and healthcare. Alongside providing aid and support to schools, there are instances where he extended financial assistance for the medical treatment of children suffering from diseases like thalassemia. The support provided for these medical expenses, along with government aid, has proven immensely helpful to those families. Similarly, at the Government High School in Shivannagudem village of Marreguda mandal, he used his own personal funds to provide CCTV cameras and also funded the painting of the school building. NRI Kumbam Sreenivasa Reddy stated that he feels deeply happy to extend services to his native region.
