Marreguda, Major News: NRI Kumbam Sreenivasa Reddy, who was born and raised in the remote village of Indurthi, studied in the local government school, went on to reach great heights, and eventually settled in America, wanted to do his part to contribute to his native village. Mostly students from underprivileged families pursue their education in the government school of Indurthi village. Believing that a golden future is possible only through education, he appointed a volunteer teacher at his own personal expense to provide creative education and support the educational growth of these young children.
On Wednesday, Kumbam Sreenivasa Reddy visited the school and interacted with the students. He observed the dedication and focus the students had toward their studies. Speaking on the occasion, he advised every student to study with interest and reach high positions in life. He also gave an assurance on this occasion that he would work toward providing infrastructure facilities in the future for the school where he once studied.
